QSR takes seriously its charge to provide leadership for the restaurant industry, and we have long done so by adopting missions that we believe can help make the industry better. In 2013 we will have two missions and will serve them by returning to those themes again and again in the pages of QSR.
The Year of Women in Foodservice. In 2012 women became, for the first time, the majority of the American workforce. Women have achieved great things in the restaurant industry, and we believe 2013 sees them poised to soar to new heights. QSR will be there to feature it.
The healthy, active lifestyle. The quick-service restaurant industry has made many strides in providing more healthy options on menus, as well as promoting activity for both young and old through marketing and sponsorships. QSR will shine a spotlight on these efforts as a means of both recognizing achievement and also spurring more advances.
Also coming in 2013: A new partnership with The NPD Group to produce our Growth 40 list of blooming markets; new data for our second-annual Global 30 ranking of quick-serves growing internationally; and the return of the Packaging Awards, produced in conjunction with the Foodservice Packaging Institute.
Award-winning, always relevant, and often quoted, QSR is quite simply the Leading Magazine.
Food News Media, publisher of QSR and FSR magazines, offers a full suite of products to help marketers connect with the entire $500+ billion U.S. restaurant industry.
