With more than 2,000 members, the Research Chefs Association promotes the discipline of culinology, the integration of culinary arts with food science, forming the backbone of research and development. The association is the go-to place for culinary and technical information for the food industry.
Member R&D chefs look to the association's Employment Network to conduct a job search within this industry segment. Those seeking an R&D chef can post a job opening on the network by completing and returning a contract with the association. Only current members can access the job postings, so employers are assured that candidates come from a targeted pool of R&D professionals. The cost to post a job is $600 for a four-month period.

For $249, employers purchase an ad on StarChefsJobfinder.com. The ad can be created online or with phone assistance. Potential employees find out about the posted jobs by searching online or through a weekly “Jobseeker Newsletter” and a biweekly “Dishrag” newsletter. Both newsletters include “Top 10 Jobs from the StarChefs Jobfinder.”
On a more informal level, StarChefs also does matchmaking based on the staff’s personal contact with employers and chefs in every major culinary market.

In keeping with its mission to enhance the education and advancement of women in all aspects of the culinary industry, Women Chefs & Restaurateurs is a networking tool with many ways to get in touch with member women culinarians. One of them is a job bank where employers can register for the opportunity to post jobs and to search résumés.
The cost to post a job is cheaper for member companies. Prices range from $50 for a seven-day posting for members up to $2,000 for ten 30-day postings for nonmembers.
