Shamrock Foodservice added its fourth distribution center in Denver in 2008 specifically to serve quick-serve operators. And last year, it built a state-of-the-art distribution center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to expand its service in the state. It has 11 wholly owned divisions, including Arizona Systems, Colorado Systems, and Shamrock Farms Dairy. Shamrock’s dairy division services Subway and Chick-fil-A on a national basis. Half of its multiunit sales are attributable to quick serves. Shamrock is a founding member of Markon, and Brinker International named the company its Distributor of the Year in 2008.
