White Oak Frozen Foods produces conventional and organic Natural and Fire Roasted Reduced Moisture (RM) Frozen Vegetables. Our unique process reduces moisture of freshly prepared vegetables by 30 - 50% to control syneresis (water loss) when thawed or heated. The process also includes a validated thermal kill step followed by a controlled environment that ensures our products meet the USDA definition of READY to EAT Foods. Our core products include: Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Jalapenos, Anaheim Chilis and Onions. We also produce Roasted Mushrooms as an alternative protein source specifically designed for use in “Blended Burgers.” Roasted Mushrooms, that deliver greater umami flavor, are the preferred ingredient for this application.
